Similan Islands

Similan Island are a stunning group of nine Islands, north west of Phuket,   Famous for being one of the top dive destinations in the world and certainly one of the best in Asia.

The diving here is simply amazing. You'll immerse yourself in thriving reefs, lush corals, impressive sea fans and an incredible variety of marine life including large pelagics such as Manta Ray and Whale Shark.

The Similan Islands are characterised by gigantic boulders above and below the surface, creating awesome underwater scenery and exciting swim through for divers to explore. The water is crystal clear and the visibility fantastic. The Similan also boast exquisite sandy beaches and shallow coral reef in the bay. A perfect  place for snorkeling.

Spread among the nine islands there are over 20 distinct dive sites. Another wonderful site is Christmas Point. This is a good spot for manta rays, nurse sharks and barracudas. It has an impressive variety of hard and soft corals and a wonderful swim through.

Shark Fin Reef has beautiful coral and sponge gardens. It is an excellent site to see reef sharks and huge Napoleon wrasse.

Elephant Head Rock from the surface looks like an elephant head. Below the surface there are many impressive tunnels and swim through. You can find small white tip reef shark in the rock crevice at the beginning of the dive and many colorful fish.

Boulder City is another beautiful dive site in the Similan. Due to its exposed location it is possible to see almost anything here including Whale Sharks and Manta ray. It is invariably an exceptional dive. Leopard Shark, Spanish Dancers and great barracuda have been seen here against a back drop of huge granite boulders.

We keep small group to ensure that you get to see the most of each dive site. This also reduces impact on the reef. Our emphasis is on safety, fun and personal service within a relaxed and stress-free environment. You will find the atmosphere and service on our dive boat, beyond anything you have experienced before!

Our experienced Divemaster know the dive sites extremely well, and will be happy to discuss what you would like to see, and the type of dive or snorkel experience you would like to have. Each dive is personally planned with the divers in each group, to ensure you enjoy each and every dive you make with us. Full briefing is provided at each site, with helpful tips on what to look for, safety information, and the most interesting places to visit.
